Return & Replacement Policy

This policy sets out how Sai Workwear handles defective, non-conforming, or misdispatched goods on orders for its industrial protective apparel. It is written for buyers and procurement teams placing standard-catalogue and purchase-order runs, not for retail consumers.

Last reviewed: September 2026.

1. Scope

This policy covers standard-catalogue garments purchased directly from Sai Workwear. It does not cover apparel purchased through a third-party distributor or reseller — for those orders, the reseller's own return terms apply.

Custom-branded, bespoke-specification, and bulk purchase-order manufacturing runs are governed by the terms agreed in the applicable purchase order or supply agreement, which take precedence over this general policy where the two differ.

2. Quality Assurance Before Dispatch

Every order passes fabric-lot traceability, inline inspection, and final AQL (Acceptable Quality Level) sign-off before it leaves the Tiruppur facility. This policy exists for the exceptions that pass through — it is not a substitute for that inspection process.

3. Reporting a Defect or Non-Conformance

Report any manufacturing defect, material non-conformance, or shipment discrepancy in writing within 7 business days of receipt, to the contact details below. Include the purchase order number, batch/lot reference (printed on the garment's care label), a description of the issue, and clear photographs of the affected item(s).

Claims reported after this window, or without the supporting reference and photographic evidence, may still be reviewed at Sai Workwear's discretion but are not guaranteed the same resolution timeline.

4. Non-Returnable Items

Garments that have been worn, laundered, altered, or branded to a custom specification cannot be returned unless the claim is for a manufacturing defect confirmed on inspection. Standard wear-and-tear from use in the field is not covered.

5. Resolution

Confirmed manufacturing defects or non-conforming goods are resolved by replacement of the affected units from the same or an equivalent fabric lot, or by credit note against a future order, at the buyer's choice where stock allows. Resolution timelines depend on order volume and are confirmed at the time the claim is accepted.

6. Freight & Logistics

Sai Workwear bears return freight for units confirmed as a manufacturing defect or dispatch error. Freight for returns outside those categories, or for goods found on inspection to meet specification, is the buyer's responsibility.

7. Custom & Bulk Orders

Custom-branded and large-volume purchase-order runs are produced to the buyer's confirmed specification and approved pre-production sample. Once a bulk order has been approved and entered production, it is not eligible for cancellation or return on the basis of specification choices made at approval — only for manufacturing defects under Section 3.
